Midnight. A house in the 400 block of W. Sherman St. was egged three times within the last hour. The homeowner was very upset.
1:57 a.m. A 42-year-old man was cited to appear in the area of S. 2nd and W. Sherman sts. on warrants for failure to comply in an animal containment case.
7:30 a.m. A nail gun was stolen from a building in the 400 block of W. Maple St. The ex-girlfriend of the nail gun owner was selling his things without his permission out of their previous property after getting a restraining order against him.
7:35 a.m. A 2006 silver and gray Dodge Magnum was stolen from the 300 block of S. 8th St. The vehicle had a hood scoop, custom make purse wire grill, 22-inch rims, tinted windows, a silver bottom and smoke gray top separated by black pinstripe. The gas tank was just about empty. Both the car and key were stolen.
10:14 a.m. Two black duffel bags with clothes and documents were found in a hedge near the 200 block of S. 8th St.
10:55 a.m. A car was hit on the left front while it was parked downtown either on Oct. 1 or 2.
10:58 a.m. A blue La Jolla 24-inch beach cruiser was found on a porch in the 600 block of S. 12th St. The bike was left there the last few days and looked new, as it had paperwork attached.
11:10 a.m. A Pioneer School student said she was bullied by another student. The girl said the other girl slapped her in the face after she was trying to get the girl to punch her. There were no injuries. School administration will handle discipline.
12:27 p.m. An 84-year-old man was cited for dangerous left turn after a two-vehicle non-injury accident blocked the road for more than half an hour in the area of S. 5th and W. Grant sts.
12:50 p.m. An unknown company from out of state somehow withdrew $75 from a local Wells Fargo account. The account owner made a fraud claim with the bank already.
1:14 p.m. A vehicle in the 200 block of Cleveland St. was blaring music so loudly that it shook the windows in nearby houses. When officers arrived, the music was still very loud. After some attitude, the person playing the music eventually turned it down and said he or she would keep it down.
4:16 p.m. An 11-year-old Seven Oak Middle School student was being harassed by another boy at school. The victim had a red mark on his face from an encounter. The mother of the alleged bully was contacted and told if further alterations happen, her son may face criminal charges. The mom was cooperative.
8:21 p.m. A man in a blue Dodge Neon ordered pizza at Little Caesar’s drive-thru. When he got to the window, he had to open his door because the car window wasn’t working. He was not wearing any pants. Once he was told how much the pizza was, he left without paying and without pizza.
9:05 p.m. A white Stetson cowboy hat was stolen from a patron at Merlin’s Bar and Grill. Loss: $65.
Tuesday, Oct. 8
4:26 a.m. A sliding glass door in the 600 block of S. 12th St. was broken out with a stick.
9:09 a.m. A dangerous tree was located in the 700 block of Walnut St.
9:11 a.m. During a traffic stop in the 2000 block of Franklin St., a 36-year-old man was arrested at gun point on an Oregon State Parole Board warrant for parole violation, no bail. He also was arrested for driving while suspended (felony).
9:52 a.m. Tools were located in the backyard of a residence in the 0-99 block of E. Cedar St. The homeowner believed the tools were going to be used to break into his trailer. Officers took the tools.
10:22 a.m. Someone drove through the grass at Lebanon High School. Loss: $100.
11:52 a.m. A group of kids were in Wynn Mill Park. They were just hanging out during lunch period, and not up to any mischief.
2:56 p.m. A black Justice 20-inch BMX-style bicycle was stolen from the 400 block of B St. about a month ago. Loss: $500.
7:46 p.m. An unlocked car in the 100 block of Hiatt St. was broken into and a purse, $100 in cash and hydrocodone were stolen. Loss: $180.
Wednesday, Oct. 9
1:01 a.m. As a man was repossessing a vehicle, he noticed a 3-year-old child in pajamas outside and crying for more than 15 minutes. The child went back inside, but the door was left wide open. The parent didn’t know why the door was open, but the child was asleep in bed when officers arrived about 20 minutes later.
1:56 a.m. An all black female cat was found dead in the area of N. 2nd and W. Olive sts. with what looked like large tumors on her belly. The cat had a red and green collar with a heart-shaped metal pendant. The cat was removed from the roadway, and the collar was placed in evidence for safe keeping.
5:04 a.m. A black and pink Mongoose bicycle was found in the middle of the road in the 1200 block of Hiatt St.
10:49 a.m. A woman in the 300 block of E. Rose St. saw a man stealing gas from her vehicle on Sunday night.
11:06 a.m. A man tried to pawn a stolen Birmingham small arms 243 caliber gun with a wooden stock at Fast Cash. The firearm was taken by officers. The man left with a woman in a white two-door Toyota pickup with a canopy.
11:13 a.m. A man reported a theft after he and his roommate gave his roommate’s grandson money. The man was not happy about how the boy spent the money. Officers explained that because the money was given willingly, there was no theft. The man was adamant that there was, and was still unhappy after officers explained the law to him.
11:59 a.m. Three adults and two children were checked on after the children were reported missing from school. The family is homeless. Employees at the Lebanon Community School District are working to find a permanent place for the family to park their fifth-wheel trailer and get the children back in school.
12:48 p.m. A woman said her 14-year-old daughter was again threatened by a 12-year-old acquaintance at Pioneer School.
4:27 p.m. A woman backed into a large silver pickup in the Walmart parking lot. She tried to stop the male driver of the pickup, but he just looked at her and drove off. There was no damage to her vehicle.
5:41 p.m. A car was keyed while parked at Walmart.
6:04 p.m. A syringe found in the 800 block of S. 12th St. was disposed of.
6:32 p.m. Four young teenagers were playing in the street in the area of Milton and Franklin sts. One nearly got hit by a passing Jeep. There was no crime and no officer available.
6:41 p.m. A man in a white truck in the 0-99 block of E. Sherman St. was playing pornography with his doors wide open. The man did not deny watching porn in his vehicle. He was counseled about public indecency. He was fully clothed.
Thursday, Oct. 10
2:55 a.m. A PT Cruiser in the 500 block of F St. had its back hatch wide open. Officers secured the vehicle.
4:35 a.m. Someone was interrupted while attempting to break into an unlocked vehicle in the 1000 block of Tasha Wy. The person ran away, last seen heading toward a park near the residence. Nothing appeared to be missing or damaged.
5 a.m. An officer contacted a 36-year-old woman who was asleep in her car behind the gates at Cheadle Lake.
7:50 a.m. A 34-year-old woman was throwing cats against the wall and assaulting children in the 600 block of S. 12th St. The woman was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
10:48 a.m. An officer picked up a setter-type dog at large in the area of S. Main and Milton sts. The owner responded and was warned for dog at large and keeping an unlicensed dog.
10:48 a.m. Flowers were stolen from a home under construction in the 1000 block of Franklin St. Loss: $6.
10:51 a.m. A 22-year-old man was arrested for fourth-degree domestic assault after causing an injury to his father’s face.
10:59 a.m. A man requested help with a 2-year-old child locked in a vehicle in the 2000 block of Cypress Ct. He called back four minutes later because he’d gotten the child out.
11:02 a.m. Linn County deputies asked for help for a 1-year-old child locked in a vehicle in the LHS parking lot. Lebanon Towing got the vehicle unlocked.
11:14 a.m. A laptop was stolen and recovered from Seven Oak. The suspect was named as a 12-year-old student.
2:50 p.m. A man came home in the 500 block of W. Sherman St. to find items missing. There was no forced entry to the home, and $650 in change was missing.
3:43 p.m. A vehicle suffered very minor damage after a hit-and-run in the Safeway parking lot.
3:43 p.m. A silver Nishiki sport road bike was stolen from the 1200 block of Hiatt St. The bike had a broken plastic water bottle holder on the frame. Loss: $50.
3:44 p.m. A female stole knives and other items from P and K Retail. She was seen going inside Napa Auto Parts. Officers were unable to find her. Loss: $49.99.
3:52 p.m. A girl was verbally harassed this afternoon on the bus from Pioneer School. The mother of the girl said it was an ongoing issue between her daughter and a 14-year-old boy. Upon further investigation, the girl hit the boy after he said something to her. The family was counseled to work with the school.
5:14 p.m. The tires on a bicycle were slashed at Ralston Park.
5:49 p.m. A woman said she saw what looked like a small dog on its back with legs flailing, as if it were injured, in the area of Stoltz Hill and W. Airport rds. The road was searched thoroughly. A pedestrian saw the dog in a nearby yard and it appeared OK.
8:38 p.m. Six people were warned about being in Ralston Park after dark.
8:45 p.m. Two more people were asked to leave the park.
9:06 p.m. A man in Walmart said an older man in blue overalls spit in his face and threatened to rape and kill him because he thought the first man had said something rude to the older man’s son, which he hadn’t.
Friday, Oct. 11
12:34 a.m. A kitten fell down a storm drain in the 800 block of Harrison St. The man hole cover was lifted and the kitten rescued and returned to owner.
7:59 a.m. A 20-year-old man was arrested in the area of S. 7th and W. Isabella sts. after he was found sleeping in a car. His warrants include failure to appear, possession of heroin, shoplifting and larceny. The 19-year-old woman who was with him was charged with possession of a schedule two drug.
9:26 a.m. A 31-year-old man was arrested in the area of S. 10th and W. Grant sts. on a warrant for contempt of court.
10:20 a.m. A fuel line was cut in the 1700 block of S. Main St. and about half a tank of fuel stolen.
11:32 a.m. A 2-year-old child was seen crawling in and out of a window in the 600 block of S. 12th St., and unsupervised for about an hour. The child’s 27-year-old mother was charged with second-degree child neglect and resisting arrest.
1:52 p.m. Two horseback riders were seen riding through Ralston Park.
1:57 p.m. A 25-year-old man was arrested in the area of E. Grant St. and Berlin Rd. on multiple warrants including probation violation, second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree disorderly conduct, and failure to comply resisting arrest.
5:15 p.m. A window was broken on a building in the 2700 block of S. Santiam Hwy. Loss: $20.50.
8:24 p.m. A 39-year-old man was cited and released in the area of Tangent and S. 6th sts. on warrants for contempt of court and probation violation in a second-degree criminal mischief case. Bail: $6,000.
9:05 p.m. A 34-year-old man was cited and released in the area of W. Oak and S. 2nd sts. on contempt of court for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.
Saturday, Oct. 12
3:23 a.m. Five or six juveniles were asking people to buy them food outside of McDonald’s because employees would not serve the youth at the drive-thru while they were on foot.
11:13 a.m. A dark brindle pit bull with a white chest and wearing a red collar was running at large near the baseball area in the 1300 block of E. Grant St. The owners, who lived at a camp in the woods near the area, were later located and warned for dog at large.
12:35 p.m. A crosswalk sign in front of Riverview School was down. The sign was temporarily replaced.
1:33 p.m. A man was walking southbound on 6th St. near W. Rose St. carrying a stick or cane, walking a black dog. The man agitates dogs in the area and hits them with his stick or cane.
2:11 p.m. A 23-year-old man took a deli sandwich from Safeway. Loss: $6.
2:13 p.m. Two juveniles took two traffic cones from around a Comcast vehicle. The cones were found in a neighbor’s yard in the area of W. Ash and S. 7th sts.
2:43 p.m. A 46-year-old man was taken to the hospital after he was found drunk in the 0-99 block of E. Oak St., stumbling into traffic. He later needed medical attention for a diabetic condition.
2:44 p.m. A 38-year-old woman was arrested at Walmart for third-degree theft.
4:07 p.m. Four to five males, aged 12 to 13, were climbing on cans and fencing in the Riverview School playground, causing a disturbance.
4:16 p.m. A 25-year-old man was arrested and charged with DUII, reckless driving and interfering with a police officer after crashing his vehicle into a house in the area of Kees and S. 12th sts. BAC: 0.17.
5:41 p.m. A 30-year-old man was charged with third-degree theft, second-degree criminal mischief and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle after breaking into a car in the alley behind Sole Train. The passenger window was broken, and $30 in change was stolen. Total loss value: $330.
5:42 p.m. A fence was cut and a four-barrel carb stolen from a property in the 1000 block of Tangent St. Loss: $300.
5:49 p.m. Four juveniles, aged 8 to 14, are riding around in the 3200 block of S. Santiam Hwy. on motorized carts without helmets or knee pads.
6:30 p.m. A 45-year-old dog owner was counseled about a complaint that her dog was barking at “all times during the day and night.” The dog barked once when officers arrived and then was quiet.
8:18 p.m. A loud explosion shook a house in the 600 block of W. Rose St.
9:10 p.m. Another explosion was heard in the 600 block of W. Rose St. Other residents in the area also heard the noise.
10:02 p.m. A 22-year-old man was arrested after a traffic stop on his bicycle in the 3100 block of S. Santiam Hwy. His warrants included failure to appear and probation violation on original charges of carrying a concealed weapon. Bail: $6,000.
10:46 p.m. A 27-year-old man in the 1500 block of Park Dr. agreed to turn down his music after a complaint that it was too loud.
11:36 p.m. A man was trespassed from Duffy’s after being verbally aggressive for being kicked out of the bar earlier that evening.
Sunday, Oct. 13
12:25 a.m. People who were fighting in front of Peacock Bar and Grill were hugging by the time officers arrived a minute later.
12:40 a.m. A 22-year-old man was arrested for hit-and-run and DUII after hitting a parked vehicle and causing extensive damage to its rear end in the 800 block of S. Williams St.
7:12 a.m. A white Huffy mountain bicycle was found in the 200 block of N. 5th St. The bicycle appears to originally be red.
9:53 a.m. A house in the 1000 block of S. 2nd St. was broken into. It is unknown what was taken.
9:54 a.m. Two unlocked vehicles in the 1300 block of Hiatt St. were broken into and items stolen including wildland firefighters survival kit, an Android tablet, Rebel Canon EOS digital camera, and change. Loss: $302.
11:09 a.m. Parents of a 2-year-old were counseled after the boy got out of the tent they were living in in the area of S. Williams and Milton sts.
11:22 a.m. A 30-year-old man was arrested and charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief after breaking into a house in the 400 block of S. 5th St. The resident was cited to appear on a warrant for dog at large.
11:24 a.m. The outlet covers were broken off an air conditioning unit at a location in the 100 block of Park St. Loss: $25.
11:31 a.m. A woman tried to gain entry to a building in the 1100 block of Hiatt St. by ripping off plywood near the front and back doors, and the side window. She was scared off by witnesses and left in a bright red sedan.
12:27 p.m. A 35-year-old male dog owner was notified of a complaint that his animal was barking all morning.
2:28 p.m. A man said another man threatened him with a BB gun in the 500 block of S. 12th St.
3:58 p.m. Parents and their young kids were counseled after the youths were throwing rocks in the 500 block of S. 12th St. The boys were picking on girls and being vulgar to adults in the area.
5:40 p.m. Seven storage units at J and J Storage were broken into.
5:54 p.m. Two $20 counterfeit bills were passed at Jack in the Box.

1:28 p.m. A vehicle was stuck in the mud in the 32600 block of Berlin Rd. after crashing. The woman occupant of the vehicle was still in the field.

12:20 p.m. Ammunition and a bulletproof vest were found in a van as it was getting cleaned out in the 400 block of Baker St.
1:57 p.m. A purse was stolen from the 31500 block of 5th St. after it was left outside under a coat. Taken: a food card and $20 in cash.
5:14 p.m. A 12-year-old male armed with two knives threatened to kill himself and his brother in the 38500 block of Weirich Dr.

11:33 a.m. A road sign was damaged in the 31300 block of Stoltz Hill Rd. after a car went into the ditch. No one was injured.
6:34 p.m. A black and tan, very large pot-bellied pig was wandering down the road in the bicycle lane of the 33100 block of Sand Ridge Rd.
